Dear Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2029,
Welcome to the Bedford Academy High School community! We are excited to have your child join our family of scholars and embark on this transformative journey toward academic excellence, character development, and lifelong success. To ensure a smooth transition into high school, we are pleased to invite you and your scholars to our Parent and Student Orientation on:
Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025 Time: 11:00 a.m. Location: Bedford Academy High School
During orientation, we will share valuable information about Bedford Academy’s expectations, norms and values, academic programs, enrichment opportunities, and the robust support systems in place for your child’s success. You will also have the opportunity to meet our resolute staff and ask any questions you may have.
In addition, all incoming first-year students are encouraged to participate in our Summer Bridge Program, which is designed to help students acclimate to the academic and social expectations of high school.
Summer Bridge Program Details: Dates: July 7 – July 31, 2025 Days: Monday through Thursday Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
· Mondays: Sessions will be held at Bedford Academy High School.
· Tuesdays–Thursdays: Sessions will be held at Long Island University foir scholars in specific cohorts, located at 1 University Plaza, Brooklyn, New York 11201.
The Summer Bridge Program offers academic preparation, team-building activities, and workshops to help students develop the skills and mindset needed to thrive at Bedford Academy.
